Jens Becker
Business Segment Director Energy Project Solutions (EPS), NEUMAN & ESSER
Jens Becker is Business Segment Director Energy Project Solutions (EPS) at NEUMAN & ESSER. He has more than 15 years of international experience in renewable gases, hydrogen, biomethane, carbon capture and Power-to-X projects.
Prior to joining NEUMAN & ESSER, he held executive leadership positions including CEO of kiwi AG and Managing Director and Director Renewable Gas Products at Hitachi Zosen Inova, where he was responsible for the international product strategy and the realization of renewable gas and hydrogen projects. Throughout his career, he has successfully developed business models and projects in hydrogen, biomethane, Bio-LNG, carbon capture and synthetic fuels, while building and restructuring international organizations and leading complex technology-driven businesses.
Jens Becker holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy and Environmental Technology and is actively engaged in the advancement of hydrogen and Power-to-X value chains across Europe.
Matthew Cole
Global Portfolio Manager, Emerging Renewable Fuels, Honeywell UOP
Matthew Cole is a Global Portfolio Manager for Honeywell UOP, supporting process technologies for emerging renewable fuel pathways including methanol to jet, fast pyrolysis and biocrude upgrading.
Matt has worked at UOP for over 10 years in a variety of roles in Research, Development, and Project Sales Support. He holds a doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
Franca Drexler
Scientific Associate, Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES, Leuna, Germany
Franca Drexler has been working at Fraunhofer IWES since 2022 focusing on hydrogen technologies, especially electrolyser systems.
In 2024 she became project lead of the Leuna100 project, extending practical experience in PtX technologies. Franca Drexler has a master’s degree in chemical engineering.
Thomas Dürr

Thomas Dürr has been with Siemens for over 20 years and currently serves as Senior Manager of the AM Experience Center. In addition, he advises industrial companies on the topic of “industrialization of additive manufacturing.”
After earning a degree in Industrial Engineering (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur) from Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, he gained experience as a management consultant and sales representative before taking on Business Development in the field of Additive Manufacturing in 2014. His focus is on the development and implementation of innovative manufacturing technologies and digital processes.
Guido Drissen

Guido Drissen started his career in 1997 at DAF Trucks in Eindhoven, Netherlands. After different positions in engineering and construction companies, Drissen joined Emerson as Engineering Manager in 2013.
In 2021, he joined Mankenberg GmbH. Drissen holds a master degree in mechanical engineering
Adrià Sancho Fibla
International Business Development Manager, Methanol Reformer
Adrià Sancho Fibla is International Business Development Manager at Methanol Reformer, where he is responsible for the international deployment of methanol reforming technology for decentralized hydrogen production.
His work focuses on developing hydrogen solutions for industrial facilities, ports, maritime applications and off grid energy systems through the integration of methanol reformers with fuel cell technologies. He leads international business development activities across the world, collaborating with shipowners, engineering companies, ports, utilities and industrial end users to accelerate the commercialization of hydrogen based energy systems.
During the last years, he has been involved in multiple international projects covering hydrogen production, maritime decarbonization, mobile power generation and Power-to-X applications. His work combines technical solution development with strategic partnerships, contributing to the practical implementation of clean energy technologies in real operating environments.
Before joining Methanol Reformer, Adrià developed an international career in business development and consultative sales, specializing in advanced energy technologies and industrial innovation. He regularly participates in international conferences and technical forums dedicated to hydrogen, renewable fuels and sustainable industrial transformation.
Dominik Fröhlich
Head of Business Development DACH, Bürkert Fluid Control Systems
Dominik Fröhlich is responsible for Business Development activities in the hydrogen and energy sector across the DACH region. With more than four years of experience in electrolyzer, fuel cell and hydrogen applications, he supports OEMs, EPCs and plant builders in the implementation of safe and efficient fluidic automation solutions, including pneumatic automation, functional safety (SIL) and ATEX-compliant system concepts.
Prior to joining Bürkert, he held various positions in engineering, sales and R&D within the automotive industry, including responsibility for application engineering, product development and international project management. Most recently, he served as Head of Research & Development for fastening systems, leading multidisciplinary development activities and innovation projects.
His current focus is on automation solutions for hydrogen plants and electrolyzers, combining digital engineering, fluid control, pneumatic valve automation and safety concepts to enable safe, scalable and efficient hydrogen production.
Harshraj Gali
Medior Consultant, Sustainable Technologies for Industrial Processes (STIP),TNO
Harshraj Gali is a Medior Consultant at TNO working on green electrolyzer technologies over the past 3 years. His work focuses on modelling large-scale electrolyzer systems, assessing operating strategies, evaluating renewable-energy integration through techno-economic, supply-chain and business-case analysis.
He holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technologies, with a focus on renewable energy systems, system integration and the economics of energy markets, and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. Philipp Good
Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Synhelion.
As CTO, Philipp plays a key role in building and scaling Synhelion’s technology. He leads the company’s technology development and implementation, overseeing the advancement of Synhelion’s fuel technology from research and development to commercial operation.
Philipp holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich and brings extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, combining deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership in technology scale-up and deployment
Thorsten Herdan
Strategic Advisor
Thorsten Herdan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Until June 2026, he served as CEO of HIF EMEA, the world’s leading producer of electricity-based renewable fuels (eFuels). Previously, he was Director General for Energy at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. From June 2017 to June 2022, he also chaired the Supervisory Board of KENFO, Germany’s state-owned asset management fund financing the country’s nuclear waste disposal obligations.
Prior to that, he held several leadership positions within VDMA, serving as Managing Director of VDMA, Managing Director of the FVV, Secretary General of CIMAC, Secretary General of EUTurbines, and Managing Director of the Energy Forum of the German Engineering Associations, which was responsible for developing the association’s energy policy.
Dr. Steffen Garbe
Founder & Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), Phlair GmbH, Ismaning, Germany
Dr. Steffen Garbe is Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of Phlair GmbH in Ismaning, Germany. He earned his doctorate at ETH Zürich on PEM water electrolysis for green hydrogen production, and previously conducted research on membranes for fuel cells at Merck.
At Phlair, he develops a cost-efficient Direct Air Capture technology that produces green CO₂ as a foundational feedstock for the Power-to-X and e-fuels value chain, making atmospheric CO₂ available as a sustainable carbon source at competitive cost.
Peter Holzapfel

Peter Holzapfel works as a Senior Consultant for the Hydrogen/P2X Industry. He has been active for this industry for 15 years, before he had several roles at Siemens in the renewable power ecosystem and for data networks. He has been with Siemens for 25 years.
Frank Horlebein
Business Development Manager Net-Zero Solutions
Frank Horlebein began his career within the chemical industry in 1995. Following his graduation in 2010, he spent two years working on one of the largest projects in the European chemical sector, contributing to the successful construction of Celanese’s new POM (polyoxymethylene) plant in Frankfurt.
He has been with the SAMSON GROUP since 2012 and has been responsible for the business development manager of the Net-Zero Solutions segment since 2022. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Bioprocess Engineering.
Masahide Kaneko
Sales & Business Development Manager
Masahide Kaneko is Sales & Business Development Manager at Elogen. He began his career in 2017 as a Business Development professional in the automotive industry, managing the full commercial cycle from client identification through to contract closure.
In 2022, he joined Elogen to lead the company’s business development activities in the UK and Northern European markets. Following his contributions, he was promoted to Head of Development & Origination, where he now oversees Elogen’s commercial strategy and market expansion.
Christoph Krinninger
Global Business Development Manager Expert – Energy Transition
Christoph leads Clariant’s business development activities in green ammonia, renewable Methanl and ammonia cracking and is recognised as global expert within Clariant’s catalyst business. He holds a diploma degree in chemistry from the Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität Munich.
In 2005, he also completed his Ph.D. thesis. Christoph Krinninger has been working in the chemical industry for over 22 years and was responsible from 2014 to 2021 as a Senior Sales Account Manager for ammonia/methanol and hydrogen customers in Europe. In 2022, he took his current role.
Dipl.-Ing. Keno Leites
Head of Fuel Cell Competence Center at Zeppelin Power Systems, Germany
He studied mechanical engineering and ship machinery at technical university of Hamburg. His professional life started at Blohm+Voss as project engineer for cruise liners and Mega Yachts. Here he headed a project for the development of fuel cell systems for sea going vessels.
After 23 years he joined Zeppelin Power Systems to introduce fuel cell systems to the existing portfolio of diesel engine aggregates.
Lukas Lehmann

Lukas Lehmann has been within Bosch and different Industrialization projects worldwide since 2023. With a Mechanical Engineering master’s degree and experience from Small Companies to Global players his focus is on efficient and innovative production and industrialization of new products.
Dr. Tim Lochner
Business Development & Sales
Dr. Tim Lochner is an energy and hydrogen engineer with more than 10 years of experience in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. He holds a PhD from the Technical University of Munich in automotive fuel cell characterization. He began his career in R&D, working on combined heat and power solutions. He then moved into automotive fuel cell diagnostics and modeling, where he developed physical models and optimized operational strategies for vehicle applications.
At Schaeffler, he later led fuel cell system and stack development. Since May 2026, he has been focused on business development and sales for PEM electrolyzers, combining strategic market development with deep technical expertise.
Aris Maroonian
Founder & CEO
Aris Maroonian is Founder & CEO of Neology, a Swiss cleantech company developing ammonia-to-hydrogen and ammonia-to-power systems for distributed clean energy. He has more than 15 years of experience in hydrogen technologies, advanced mobility, and energy systems.
Before founding Neology, he held senior engineering and management positions at Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe and previously held advanced R&D positions within the Toyota Group in Japan. Aris holds an Executive MBA from IMD and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from EPFL.
Cengiz Oguzoglu
Global Market Manager Hydrogen
Cengiz Oguzoglu is Global Market Manager Hydrogen at Weidmüller. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and has more than 15 years of experience in industrial automation, renewable energy, and hydrogen technologies. He joined Weidmüller in 2016 and has supported the company’s hydrogen business for over five years.
Today, he is responsible for the global market strategy for hydrogen and Power-to-X applications, with a focus on digitalization, energy management, industrial connectivity, and automation solutions. He regularly collaborates with leading OEMs, EPCs, system integrators, technology providers, and industrial end users worldwide to enable scalable and future-ready hydrogen projects.
Konrad Nawal
Business Development Manager, AS-Schneider Group
Konrad Nawal brings more than 15 years of experience spanning engineering, strategic sourcing, commercial operations, and business development across the electronics, sensing, and process industries. He began his career as a Project Engineer with the Würth Elektronik Group before advancing into strategic procurement and commercial leadership positions at Trafag GmbH and Magnetic Sense GmbH.
Since 2025, he has served as Business Development Manager at the AS-Schneider Group, where he is focusing on business development and market growth in the fields of hydrogen, CCUS, and demanding process water applications.
Konrad holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
Dr. Sebastian Pohl
Head of Engineering & Process Development, TURN2X GmbH, Munich, Germany
Dr. Sebastian Pohl started his career at Covestro as Expert Heat Transfer in engineering and later on took over the technical project lead role for the Mattress Recycling project, successfully piloting the reaction and separation technology for recycled raw materials.
He then changed to BASF where he lead a benchmarking team focusing on high-temperature recycling technologies like gasification, pyrolysis but also methanation.
Now he is heading the department of Engineering & Process development at TURN2X, responsible for upscaling the technology to market demand sizes.
Dr. Sebastian Pohl holds a PhD from TU Kaiserslautern in thermal process technologies and a degree from the KIT in chemical engineering.
Dr. Bernhard Stoeckl
Director Product & Business Development, Fuel Cell & Energy, AVL List GmbH
Dr. Bernhard Stöckl is Director Product & Business Development Hydrogen & Fuel Cell at AVL List GmbH in Graz, Austria. He has more than ten years of experience in fuel cell and electrolysis technologies and broad industrial experience across the automotive industry, energy sector and plant engineering.
Before taking over his current business development role, he worked in product management and project management for fuel cell system development at AVL, and previously led hydrogen, innovation and maintenance projects at VERBUND Thermal Power GmbH & Co KG.
He holds a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering from Graz University of Technology, with a focus on solid oxide fuel cells, and is author of more than 20 scientific publications on fuel cells and electrolysis.
Matthias Renger

Matthias Renger began his career in 2008 with Siemens Energy in Frankfurt-Höchst, where he worked as an R&D Process Engineer focused on the development of CO₂ capture technologies.
In 2014, he joined thyssenkrupp Uhde specializing in refinery projects, including both grassroots and brownfield projects.
Since 2015, he has been responsible as Product Manager for a broad portfolio of petrochemical technologies.
Since October 2025, he is leading a team of Product Managers and holding full responsibility for the Technology Product Group covering Gasification, eMethane, Methanol, and Methanol-to-X technologies.

Dr. Henning Schramm
Process Engineer, Discipline Expert Power2X
Henning Schramm studied Chemical Process Engineering at Technical University Cottbus/Germany and completed his PhD at the Max-Planck-Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg/Germany and University of Stuttgart/Germany.
In 2004, Henning Schramm joined Siemens AG (later: Siemens Energy) as a project engineer. After this, he gained 22 years of professional experience in process design and simulation of chemical processes in power plant business, management of R&D projects in new (hydrogen) economy and Power2X.
He is an experienced professional and discipline expert for various elements of Power2X like CO2 supply, green ammonia, green methanol, electrolysis, and member of the national DECHEMA/VDI expert committee “Gas Cleaning”. Henning is based in Frankfurt, Germany.
Sven Truckenmüller

Sven Truckenmüller started his career in 2006 at EUWA water treatment GmbH in Gärtringen Germany, where he worked a project manager.
In 2008 he joined dinotec GmbH in Maintal as project manager for pool water treatment and electrolysis systems.
In 2012 he joined to AWS AG, Heilbronn as an engineer for air treatment systems. In 2018 he joined GEMÜ.
Truckenmüller is a graduate engineer in process & environmental engineering.
Dr. Francisco Vidal Vázquez
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer, ICODOS GmbH, Mannheim, Germany
Francisco Vidal Vázquez started his career in 2012 as a research scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, working on Power-to-X technologies. In 2018, he joined the Institute for Micro Process Engineering (IMVT) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) as project manager and researcher for EU- and German-funded Power-to-X projects.
In 2022, he co-founded ICODOS, a KIT spin-off, where he leads technology development as CTO.
He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in chemical engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València and a PhD in chemical engineering from Aalto University, Finland.
Dipl.-Ing. Zhengling Li
Research Associate, Chair of Thermodynamics of Mobile Energy Conversion Systems (TME), RWTH Aachen University, Germany
Dipl.-Ing. Zhengling Li began his career in 2016 as a product manager in a software start-up. In 2017, he joined BEA Testing GmbH as a project engineer, where he supported and led numerous engine research and development projects focused on improving efficiency and reducing emissions, particularly through the use of alternative fuels.
Since 2024, he has been a Research Associate at TME, RWTH Aachen University, where his work focuses on ammonia combustion in internal combustion engines.
Sebastian Hillebrand
Strategy consultant and moderator
Sebastian Hillebrand is a strategy consultant and moderator with a particular passion for Power-to-X. With his many years of experience in supporting complex transformation processes, he is promoting the exchange between stakeholders at the P2X conference for the third time, thus contributing to the further development of sustainable energy solutions.
Peter Müller-Baum
Managing Director of VDMA Power-to-X for Applications, Frankfurt/M – Germany
Peter Müller-Baum studied civil engineering as well as business administration at the RWTH Aachen University, graduating as Engineer and Master of Business and Engineering.
He is with the VDMA since 2005 where he started as a consultant for the Cleaning Systems Association and as Managing Director Technical Affairs for the European association EUnited Cleaning.
In 2012, he became Deputy Managing Director, in 2014 Managing Director of VDMA Engines and Systems that represents the interests of German manufacturers of internal combustion engines for industrial applications and their suppliers.
Since 2013, Peter Müller-Baum is Secretary General of the International Council on Combustion Engines (CIMAC e.V.) where national associations and companies from the combustion engine industry from 27 countries are organized.
In addition, since December 2018 is Peter Müller-Baum also Managing Director of VDMA Power-to-X for Applications, the central platform for information, communication and cooperation for the P2X community, integrating all important stakeholders along the value chain.
